THIEVES broke into a woman’s Southampton home while she was away visiting her parents.

The 20-year-old tenant returned to her Shirley flat in Kent Street to find the front door had been forced open.

A 32-inch Samsung flat screen television was missing.

Detectives from Shirley CID are appealing for information about the burglary, which took place between Monday, January 7 and 10pm on Monday, January 21.
