A WOMAN was hit in the face as robbers snatched her handbag.
The 43-year-old victim was walking her dog along an access road that runs alongside Dutton Lane, in Eastleigh, when two men ran towards her.
She was hit on the forehead and cheek and fell to the ground dazed, then saw them running off with her handbag.
The woman suffered bruising in the incident, around 2.20pm on Tuesday, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Though the bag was recovered further down the road, £60 cash had been taken.
Both robbers are described as aged about 15 to 16 and white.
Call Det Con Scott Spafford at Eastleigh CID on 101.
