Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seen to shout racist abuse at a group of people leaving a restaurant.
The incident happened outside the Villagio restaurant on the High Street.
The man described as white, around 25-years-old and of slim build was witnessed by a member of the public who called the police.
PC Simon Merritt from Andover police station said: “This type of behaviour will not be tolerated. There were a number of people in the area at the time and I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
“I’d particularly like to hear from the victims themselves.”
