SHE struck the jackpot 20 years ago.
Now Hampshire great-grandmother Maureen Down is celebrating again after scooping last week’s £1,400 Find the Ball runner-up prize.
The 85-year-old, who lives with her daughter Eileen Coventry, 60, in Totton, has been playing the popular competition for quarter of a century, scooping £17,500 back in 1993.
Maureen was just as delighted with her latest success and she plans to treat herself with the winnings.
She said: “I’m very pleased. That’s a really nice surprise. That will come in handy because me and my daughter want to go on holiday in the summer. We can go on a nice cruise now.
Maureen, who has two children, two grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren, said she may also use some of the cash to pay a visit to her family, with her son Stephen, 65, living in Scotland.
