POLICE have shut down a Southampton home being used as a crack den by drug addicts and dealers.
It brings to an end months of misery for neighbours who have had to put up with users urinating on their property, throwing stones at windows and banging on doors as they queued to get their fix.
Today the property is boarded up after shocking evidence from residents persuaded magistrates to let officers take action.
A mother and her son living there, Christine and Christopher Lord, were given a few hours to remove their belongings before they were evicted.
