A teenage Southampton girl is at the centre of a major study into the impact of playing football with the boys.
Tia Flett is one of only two girls in Hampshire playing in the under 14 leagues after the Football Association changed the rules this season to allow girls to play.
Now university experts are studying 13-year-old Tia's impact on the game with a view to allowing under 15s play next season.
