A GANG of 12 yobs, one armed with a baseball bat, robbed and attacked two boys aged 14 and 15 in Southampton.
The mob confronted their victims at the junction of Taunton Drive and Yeovil Chase in Bitterne, and warned them not to run before the eldest victim was hit over the head.
The teenager’s pockets were then searched and his Blackberry phone was stolen. His friend had his iPod touch stolen from his pocket.
Both of the key offenders were white, with one aged 17-19, slim around 5ft 10in and wearing a black hooded coat with a zip. It had a red Nike tick on the left side of the chest.
His accomplice was slightly smaller and wearing a grey hoodie which had a blue Nike top and matching tracksuit bottoms with white trainers.
Police say it was an unprovoked and terrifying attack and want to hear from anyone with information about the robbery which happened on Saturday, between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.
Call Detective Constable Martin Timmis at Bitterne police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
