THIEVES have stolen a charity collection tin from a Hampshire shop.
Intruders broke into Fuzzi, a not-for-profit grocery and clothes shop in Parchment Street, Winchester, and took the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance money box.
Owners Hannah and Andy Mintram, above, believe there was about £30 inside.
The thieves ignored the till and safe in the January 20 raid.
Hannah, 25, said: “I felt violated and angry. We’re a small business and every penny counts. It’s really put our plans back. I pity the people who have done it – they’re obviously desperate so I do pity them.”
The shop has been open since September 2011 and all the goods are ethically sourced, with money raised going back into community projects.
