THE quietly beautiful film Times and Winds examines the lives of children in a small Turkish village situated on a mountainside near the sea.
Their lives are ordered five times a day by the “voice of God’s messenger”
floating down from the minaret.
Things are as they have been for generations.
Through their eyes we enter a remote and hidden world with all its secrets, happiness and hypocrisy.

n Until now, audiences could only experience Cirque du Soleil from their seats at the live performances.
But, with the help of the most advanced filming technology, you will now soar with the aerialists, leap with the acrobats, plunge into the water, and see what the performers see from their points of view.
You will be taken through the amazing visuals of the Cirque du Soleil on the big screen as the narrative unfolds – a love story of two aerialists who are separated and must find each other again in the world of Cirque du Soleil.
Cirque Du Soleil – World’s Away is showing in 3D at Harbour Lights on Sunday.
