RELATIVES of a Hampshire mother-of-two killed on a dual carriageway have appealed for information that could help police investigating her death.

Kathleen Gundre, 61, was on the southbound carriageway of the A326, near Totton, on November 8 when she was hit by a Renault Laguna but police believe other vehicles could have been involved.

In a statement Mrs Gundre's family said she was a loving mum to her children Paul and Jenny and all the family would be "eternally grateful" for any information.

It added that she was a keen member of Fawley Flower Arranging Club and also attended afternoon bingo sessions at the Jubilee Hall, Fawley and was very attached to her dog Grace.

The statement added: "Kath enjoyed - and was very much part of - the numerous get-togethers that are all part of close family life.

"To think of this Christmas and all future occasions without her is too painful, especially given the circumstances surrounding her death."

Officers are trying to trace the driver of a light-coloured lorry that was seen to swerve just before the accident.

The lorry is believed to be a 7.5-tonne two-axle box-style vehicle with a green oak tree logo on the side. The registration number begins with "KTO2" or "FTO2".
