THERE'S No Place Like A Home, a hilarious new comedy by Paul Elliott, will help laugh away the winter blues when it arrives at The Mayflower on Monday.
With a cast of showbiz legends - Gorden Kaye, Ken Morley, Ray Alan and Lord Charles, Brian Cant, Joan Savage, Sue Hodge and Peter Byrne - it promises to have the audience rolling in the aisles.
There's No Place Like A Home tells the story of what happens when a group of best-loved performers of stage and screen retire to spend their twilight years at a home for theatrical artistes.
But alas, the home comes under threat of closure and then the fun begins.
Not the sort of people to take things lying down, the old troupers devise a cunning plan.
They decide to kidnap a celebrity and demand a ransom which they will use to save their precious and much loved home!
Promising superlative performances and a script that sparkles with one-liners, There's No Place Like A Home is a warm and witty mix of comedy and drama. The show runs until Saturday.
