THEY wowed the crowds at Glastonbury and now they are bringing their soulful music to the New Forest for one night only.

Moya, a successful combination of African rhythm and traditional vocalising with jazz and folk overtones, is coming to Forest Arts this tomorrow night from 8pm.

At the heart of the band is a singer-songwriter duo, Moesha and Jonathan, who left the mountainous kingdom of Swaziland to settle in the UK.

Moya - which translates as air, breath, spirit and wind' in siSwati, the indigenous language of Swaziland - were selected from thousands for one of the coveted Jazz World Stage slots at Glastonbury in 2005 and were received to great acclaim.

Their album Bambelela (which translates as Hold On') was recorded in their new home town of Bath and a percentage of sales is being sent to assist a charity in Swaziland that supports orphans and vulnerable children.

The current line-up is djembe, upright bass, drums, three part backing vocals and lead. This is an enticing, soulful and very danceable mix not to be missed.

Tickets are available from the Forest Arts Box office on 01425 612393.
