Southampton young bookworms are being urged to take inspiration from their favourite book and bring life to the city’s rhino charge.
As part of the Go! Rhinos public art extravaganza, Southampton City Library and Art Gallery are challenging young artists to create a design to adorn their baby rhino sculpture.
The design has to be colourful and take inspiration from their favourite books or art work, with the winning creation taking its place on the family trail that will see rhinos popping up in city streets for ten weeks this summer.
The Marwell Wildlife project, backed by the Daily Echo, aims to boost the region’s economy by making Southampton the place to be for families looking for a great day out during the holidays.
Competition entries must be handed to library staff before April 21.
