POLICE have arrested six teenagers and a man in an investigation into a spate of bike thefts.
Police executed a warrant at a house in Battery Hill, Stanmore, Winchester, as part of a probe into the theft of cycles from the Winchester area in October 2012.
Seventeen bikes were recovered worth around £3,500.
A 22-year-old man, a 19-year-old man, two 18-year-old men, a 17-year-old youth, a 16- year-old and a 15-year-old boy all from Winchester were arrested for alleged handling stolen goods.
They have been released on bail until April.
