THE trial of three people accused of murdering and then burning the body of a young Hampshire man will start a day later than planned.
Donna Chalk, Andrew Dwyer-Skeats and Ryan Woodmansey were due to appear before Winchester Crown Court on April 9. The three are alleged to have killed 23-year-old Jamie Dack at a bedsit in Southampton last Easter.
They had gone on trial last November but the case was stopped when a fourth defendant changed his plea and admitted murder while giving evidence.
Lee Nicholls, 28, from Southampton Street, has not yet been sentenced.
His three co-accused all deny the charge, although Dwyer-Skeats and Woodmansey admit perverting the course of justice by disposing of Jamie's body and setting it alight in the Empress Road industrial estate. Chalk denies the charge.
Dwyer-Skeats, 26, and Chalk, 21, both of Bevois Mews, Southampton, and Woodmansey, 32, of no fixed address, will now stand trial in Winchester on April 10.
