THE rare opportunity to see Winchester from a different view is on offer next month.
The cathedral is organising several twilight tours of the 150ft tower.
Two of the tours on December 29 will raise funds for the Radio Solent Daisy Appeal.
Those taking part will be able to walk in the rarely-seen roof spaces, bell and ringing chambers. Afterwards mulled wine and mince pies will be served in the crypt.
Tickets for the 12-space tour cost £10 and pre-booking is essential on 01962 857225.
To take part you must be over 12 and under 70.
