RAM-raiders targeted a Hampshire television shop and stole six sets worth hundreds of pounds.

The thieves used a dark-coloured 4x4 vehicle to rob Audio & Vision Services in High Street, Fordingbridge.

They rammed the front of the shop - then pulled out the door using a rope tied to the vehicle.

Two people were seen taking televisions from the shop before climbing back into their vehicle and heading south in the direction of the A31.

They got away with three boxed Toshiba 26-inch televisions, two boxed 20-inch LCD flat screen sets and an unboxed 32-inch Panasonic LCD flat screen.

The shop is still assessing the value of the items stolen during the incident, just before 4am on Friday.

A police spokesman said: "Detectives are keen to hear from anyone offered these brands of television or knows of anyone who is selling them."
