Keane will be making their debut visit to the Bournemouth International Centre in February.
The band, Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley and Richard Hughes, whose second album, Beyond the Iron Sea, is riding high in the album charts, grew up and went to school together in the small south coast town of Battle, in Sussex.
Their big break came in January 2003, when they recorded Everybody's Changing which was made single of the week by Radio 1 DJ Steve Lamacq.
All 500 copies were sold and the band toured the UK before recording their debut album, Hopes and Fears, in late 2003.
