TODAY is the last day you can make your shopping count as the Daily Echo’s Shop for Schools promotion draws to an end.
For the past month shoppers have been turning every pound spent at The Marlands shopping centre into points to help local schools climb the Shop for Schools league table.
The school at the top of the table by the end of business today will win hundreds of pounds worth of equipment for their school.
With just one day left Sholing Junior School in Southampton is the school to beat as they have so far received the most points so far in the competition.
But there are still some shopping hours left so after purchasing your goods at anyone of the dozens of shops inside the centre then simply converting the receipts to points at the helpdesk.
The school with the most points by the end of the competition will win £500 worth of equipment, and two runners- up will also receive prizes for their school.
The Marlands general manager Tim Keeping said: “The whole community has been enthusiastically joining in the competition, with children, parents, families and friends all helping to boost the points for their school.
“As we near the finishing line, the league table is too close to call – we are looking forward to seeing who will be our Shop for Schools winner.”
