TWO men were arrested in the Hampshire countryside after police found an abandoned van packed with cannabis.
Plain-clothes officers were on patrol in the New Forest when they found the white Iveco van blocking the road, with its bonnet embedded in a hedge.
Assuming it had been involved in a road accident the officers investigated and discovered that the vehicle black bin liners full of cannabis.
Two men seen jogging towards the van in Burley Road, Bransgore, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
A police spokesman said the men, one aged 18 from Bournemouth and the other aged 25 from Christchurch, were bailed until July 12 pending further inquiries.
