The New Forest is home to many roaming animals
A PONY was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the New Forest.
The bay mare was found at the Norleywood cross-roads, part of the B3054 Lymington to Beaulieu road, by an agister.
In another collision a cow was badly injured in Burley Street, Burley, and had to be destroyed.
