AT least four black bin liners stuffed with newly-picked cannabis plants were found in an abandoned van in the New Forest.
Plain clothes police officers were on patrol when they found the vehicle, which appeared to have been involved in a crash in Burley Road, Bransgore.
It was blocking the road and its bonnet was embedded in a hedge.
The officers went to investigate and found that the rear of the vehicle contained black refuse sacks full of cannabis.
Two men seen jogging towards the van were spoken to and arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
The men, one aged 18 from Bournemouth and the other aged 25 from Christchurch, were bailed until July 12 pending further inquiries.
