A YOUNG motorist has died after a crash on a Hampshire road.
Driver Edward Sebborn suffered life threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision in Curdridge last week.
The 23-year-old, of Westbury Court, Hedge End, was taken to Southampton General Hospital but died on Friday.
The crash, involving a blue Ford Fiesta, happened on Botley Road, close to Maple Farm at approximately 2.40am on Thursday, June 6.
A family statement said: "On June 7, Edward Sebborn passed away after a car accident. A much loved son and brother who will be dearly missed by all who knew him."
Police investigating the collision are still appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone who believes they saw Mr Sebborn's Ford Fiesta in the minutes prior to it.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Severn.
