TWO new contenders have entered the fray of the keenly-awaited South Coast Business Awards 2013.
Petersfield-based ADP Security Systems Ltd has been selected from the reserve list for RSM Tenon Customer Service.
Meanwhile the Smith & Williamson Growth Business of the Year Award judges have selected Southampton-based Corrotherm International Ltd.
They will be invited along with industry chiefs to a black-tie event at the hotel on July 12, where the guest speaker will be Michael Portillo, the former Tory MP turned broadcaster.
Customer service Since the customer is always right, the winner of the RSM Tenon Customer Service must demonstrate genuine and innovative focus on customer service and care.
Judges are looking for customer service objectives and strategy, business performance, customer care, staff development plans and how this has driven business growth.
And these qualities have been recognised in ADP Security Systems Ltd This modest Petersfield-based company sits in the top 10 per cent of the UK security industry’s ‘Approved Contractor Scheme’, whose members “continually improve performance and focus on customer service”. In 2010, ADP Security introduced an innovative operational system to support business retention, stimulate repeat sales, word-of-mouth lead generation and to increase good profits.
Growth business Companies which are defiantly expanding against all odds are recognised in the Growth Business of the Year Award.
For a third year running the accolade is sponsored by accountancy and financial services group Smith & Williamson.
That’s why Corrotherm International Ltd is now in the running.
It is a specialist supplier of heat and corrosion-resistant nickel alloys used in the fabrication of critical process equipment in the oil, gas, petrochemical and power industries.
Established 21 years ago as a one-person trader, the company now has offices in the UK, Dubai , Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, India, Australia and USA
