“EXCITING times” are ahead for a Southampton communications firm after it gained funding from a Government-backed scheme.
Communications specialists Event Communication Services will change its name to Fore Solutions after the funding boost from the Growth Accelerator initiative.
Company managing director Tom Ross says that funding and expert advice from the scheme will allow the company to grow, and will ensure long-term sustainability.
The company, based in Crosshouse Road, specialises in radio communications, vehicle tracking, fleet management and business mobiles.
The rebranded company will include four divisions – ForeTrack for vehicle tracking and fleet management, Fore Communications for corporate radio communications, Fore Business for mobile communications and Fore Events for two-way radio hire.
Mr Ross said: “This is an excellent scheme which will really help small businesses like us to grow and become more competitive. A mentor has been assigned to us to share their expertise. They have analysed the business to help us find what we could improve and I have been extremely impressed with the support that has been given.
“It is an exciting time for us at the moment and we are delighted to reveal our refreshed brand, Fore Solutions, to new and existing clients.”
