Editor's note: Police have apologised to the woman in the CCTV. Read the full story here.
THIS is the woman police want to talk to about the theft of money at a Hampshire shop.
A customer at McColls newsagents in Milford Road, Lymington, opened her purse and accidentally dropped £45, which landed on a nearby shelf.
Police say another woman picked up the fallen notes but did not return them to the loser or hand them into the police.
PC Benjamin Collins is anxious to trace the person in the photograph. “This shopper was in the newsagents at the time of the incident and may have important information about who picked up the fallen notes,” he said.
Anyone who recognises the woman should call PC Collins at Lymington police station on 101.
