THE mother of a Hampshire boy killed in the Sandy Hook school massacre will tonight appear on national television describing her battle for tighter gun controls in the US.
Nicole Hockley will chart her desperate on-running bid to encourage stricter firearms laws in America - and the disappointment of seeing the country's Senate reject reform.
Her six-year-old son, Dylan, who grew up in Eastleigh, was one of 20 pupils and six teachers gunned down by a crazed murderer at Sandy Hook Elementary School in the United States. He was found in the arms of his teacher.
Mrs Hockley, who is American, has been at the forefront of moves to introduce tighter gun controls following the massacre last year.
The family moved to the US when dad Ian's job was transferred from Hursley to New York.
As reported, a picture of Dylan is being used to drive home the human cost of the tragedy in December.
Mrs Hockley will describe her battle for reform on 'Tonight' America and its Guns on ITV at 7.30pm.
