Rush hour misery for motorists
MOTORISTS are facing rush-hour traffic misery after a crash on a busy Southampton road.
The accident happened at the junction of The Avenue and Burgess Road at about 5.42pm.
Traffic is building up along both roads which are closed as a result of the accident, which involved a Fiat Punto and a Citroen.
A police spokesman said no-one had been seriously injured, but three people - two adults and a child - were taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
