Ambulance crews were called to Templecombe Road in Bishopstoke amid reports a man had collapsed.

Graham Bowden, 30, of Sedgwick Road, Eastleigh, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were called out to the address following the discovery on Tuesday morning Now detectives have confirmed there was evidence to indicate there had been drug use at the address where Mr Bowden died.

A post mortem examination could not ascertain the cause of death, and tissue and blood samples have been sent for analysis.

A 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were later arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of drugs.

They were bailed to return to Southampton Central police station on August 8.

Detective Sergeant Philip Jones, of Eastleigh CID, said: β€œAt this stage the cause of death is not known, although we suspect illegal drugs may have been a contributory factor.

β€œI urge people to be aware of the extreme dangers of taking illegal drugs and ask people who have any information concerning the supply of drugs to contact the police.”
