OVERTURNED lorries brought traffic chaos to two Hampshire roads today.
An articulated lorry overturned on the A34 southbound at Winnall roundabout before another lorry toppled its trailer at Spicer's Hill roundabout, causing major rush hour tailbacks.
The first incident happened at around 5.20am and resulted in the cab and its trailer overturning.
Recovery work took place last night following rush hour.
Motorists faced lengthy delays following the second incident at around 3pm.
The trailer and its cargo - a container carrying 27 tonnes of ply wood - toppled as the vehicle navigated towards the A35 eastbound at Totton bypass.
It caused rush hour tailbacks stretching as far as Lyndhurst.
The lorry cab was not damaged and was able to leave the scene before recovery work took place.
Police officers at the scene said no one was hurt in the incident, which did not involve any other vehicles.
