POLICE have today made an arrest after a terrifying gun point robbery at a Hampshire Post Office.

Officers have detained a 24-year-old man from Holbury following an incident in which staff and a customer were threatened at the Blackfield branch on Hampton Lane. He remains in custody at Lyndhurst Police Station on suspicion of robbery.

As reported, police were called to the Post Office at around 9am on Friday amid reports a man had threatened two workers and a customer.
