MULTI-COLOURED tutus and magnificent mohawks were all the rage as fun runners went the extra mile for charity.
Students and teachers sported pink kits and fancy dress accessories when they set off on their selfstyled Race for Life at Oasis Academy Mayfield in Southampton.
The brightly-coloured work-out was influenced by the national Race for Life sister events taking part across the county in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Staff and pupils huffed and puffed their way around a three-kilometre route at the Ashley Crescent college – running, jogging and walking around the sports field – before everyone received a medal.
