THEY took on one of Wales’s tallest mountains to raise thousands for charity.
Employees from Southampton-based water engineering and construction company Trant joined 2,000 people from across the country in climbing the UK’s mountains on the same day.
Fourteen members of staff from Trant put on their walking boots and climbed the 2,864 feet to the top of Corn Du in the Brecon Beacons.
The three teams raised more than £1,000 towards the company’s £10,000 target for WaterAid, which will help the charity continue working to provide clean water and sanitation to more people across the globe.
Trant has also taken part in cycling challenges and a raft race and held race nights and quizzes to help them reach their fundraising goal.
