VILLAGERS near Winchester have been hit by a cut to their electricity supply.
Around six homes in Main Road, Crawley, suffered the blackout on Tuesday morning.
Southern Electric supplied a mobile generator while the problem, believed to be an underground fault, was dealt with.
Villager William Howard said: “Southern Electric have been slow. I have been told it will be two or three days before it can be sorted.”
A Southern Electric spokesman said yesterday: “Engineers are still trying to locate the fault. It’s troublesome.”
