Vandals damage nature reserve with bonfire
VANDALS have fire-damaged a city nature reserve after lighting a bonfire.
They carried a stolen pub garden picnic bench for hundreds of yards to the meadow in the Miller’s Pond Nature Reserve in Sholing before lighting a large fire on Tuesday.
An eight by ten feet area of scorched earth has been left behind. Police are investigating the incident.
