STUDENTS at a Hampshire school have turned filmmakers and staged their own Oscars night to celebrate their films.
Hounsdown School students created and directed their own videos and films and submitted them into the Hounsdown Oscars where they were placed into a category before students were asked to vote for their favourites.
The top four videos in each category were invited to a celebratory evening at the Jacobs Gutter Lane school last night where the winner of each category was announced.
Medals and certificates were awarded by senior members of the school, governors and the BBC presenter Jon Cuthill.
