THEY were among Britain’s best-known and popular twins.
From television appearances and top selling records the Cheeky Girls were never out of the public spotlight.
And this weekend, more than ten years after finding fame, the girls made an appearance at a sports complex in Hampshire.
The duo, twin sisters Gabriela and Monica Irimia, took part in Fawley’s annual Armed Forces Day cele¬ brations.

Large crowds flocked to Gang Warily Recreation Centre for the girls’ free perform¬ ance.
Their appearance is being hailed as a major coup for Fawley Parish Council, which is organising the event.
The Daily Echo-backed Help For Heroes is one of the charities benefited from the 12-hour fundraising extravaganza.
