ANGRY residents in Alresford fear a child cyclist could be killed by a large pothole on a local road.
People living in the Grange Road area have complained to the county council about the hole close to the Stratton Bates recreation ground.
Cllr Seán Woodward, Executive Member for Economy, Transport and Environment at the county council, said last year’s wet weather followed by a cold winter had caused a rise in road problems but said: “The pothole in Grange Road is to be repaired this week.”
