Man admits assault on woman
SOUTHAMPTON man Kevin Phillimore is awaiting sentence for attacking a woman.
Phillimore, 49, of Malmesbury place, Shirley, admitted assaulting Kelly Venn in Basingstoke on June 18.
He also pleaded guilty to breaking a restraining order on June 18 imposed by Aldershot Magistrates’ Court on October 3 last year. Phillimore also admitted harassing, pestering, molesting and using violence against Ms Venn on June 16, the court heard.
He denied threatening to kill and the charge was withdrawn.
Magistrates in Basingstoke transferred the case for sentencing at Winchester Crown Court on July 12.
