A SOUTHAMPTON man conned a bank by claiming he had a £56,000 annual salary, Winchester Crown Court heard.
Zamil Miah, 28, of Norham Avenue, pleaded guilty to fraud as well as possessing cannabis with intent to supply.
The prosecution accepted his plea of not guilty to possessing £4,400 as criminal property and the matter was ordered to lie on the file by Judge Jane Miller QC.
Miah, who had a previous conviction for theft by finding and failing to surrender to bail, had sentence adjourned to August 9 for reports after Bill Maley, defending, said: “These matters cross the custody threshold but there may be an alternative.”
