A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a car near Romsey.
Police say that the 58-yearold biker from Curdridge, near Botley, was thrown into the air in Sunday afternoon’s crash on the A27 at the Shootash crossroads.
The man was riding his Ducati towards Romsey and suffered severe bruising.
An S-type Jaguar V6, driven by an 81-year-old East Wellow man, was involved in the accident.
The car left the road and struck road signs.
