Firefighters are clearing up the aftermath of a barn blaze at a Hampshire farm yesterday.
The fire broke out shortly after 5.15am at Stroud Wood Farm off Portsmouth Road in Lower Upham when hay caught alight.
Twenty firefighters from Easteligh, Wickham and Bishop’s Waltham arrived within minutes to get the flames under control.
No-one was hurt but the blaze – which crews are not treating as suspicious – caused damage to part of the structure and firecrews remained to make sure the hay was fully extinguished.
