A CITY church will be celebrating its 150th birthday by holding a party for the community it serves.
The community festival today will feature a barbecue, games, stalls, tombola, cakes and bric-a-brac and a raffle.
There will also be a children’s area with activities based on Noah’s Ark.
Community displays will include a Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service engine, a paramedic car and a police van where bicycle and mobile phone marking will be provided and people can visit to talk about community matters.
Chamberlayne College for the Arts will provide entertainment with music, dance, basketball and samba drumming.
The Sound Worship Orchestra will be playing in Church from 10.30-11.30 am with a singer and church organist Andy Ingram will play light music throughout the day.
The festival runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
