SAILING and seafood will be on the menu at an annual Hampshire food and drink festival that promises to be the best yet.
Foodies flocking to the two-day celebration today and Sunday will be able to experience a combination of kayaks and king prawns, plus a large number of other attractions and mouthwatering dishes.
The festival is being staged at the Master Builder’s House Hotel, which boasts spectacular views of the Beaulieu River.
Visitors will be presented with a spectacular selection of dishes supplied by Poole-based Seafresh Seafoods Ltd, For the first time the event is being combined with two open days staged by the Buckler’s Hard-based New Forest Activities, which provides archery, cycling and other pursuits.
Visitors will be able to take to the water in single-seater kayaks for a 15-minute introduction to the sport.
But all the other festival-related activities will take place in and around the hotel.
This year’s event has attracted a record 40 stalls.
