A driver died when his car crashed with a Transit van which has blocked a Hampshire road.
The elderly driver was in a Ford Fiesta when it collided with the van coming in the opposite direction on the A3057 near Fullerton near Stockbridge.
The 81-year-old from Andover was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 12.20pm.
Police say the van driver, a 29-year-old man, was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester, with minor injuries.
The A3057 Romsey Road remains closed in both directions at the scene and local diversions are in place.
The closures are expected to remain in place for the next couple of hours to allow for recovery and investigation of the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle driving prior to it.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Nigel Burt at the Whitchurch Roads Policing unit, quoting Operation Uncoat, on 101.
