South coast is diving trouble spot
FIGURES from the HM Coastguard revealed that the south coast is the area that divers would most likely run into trouble.
According to statistics, 16 divers died last year – the highest number in 11 years, although the number of incidents recorded was the lowest for three years at 177. That is significantly lower than in 2010 as there were 230 incidents.
