A Hampshire teacher is one of just seven to be recognised for inspiring children with her “exceptional” science lessons.
Ringwood School teacher Hannah Belben received one of the first ENTHUSE Celebration awards in recognition of her science teaching and the inspirational impact she has had on students.
The awards were given out at a prestigious ceremony at the Wellcome Trust in London.
Ms Belben was nominated for the award after taking part in a project at the National Science Learning Centre, with a bursary from Project ENTHUSE – a partnership between the Wellcome Trust, the Government and industry.
The partnership provides funding for teaching staff from state-funded schools, academies and colleges in the UK.
