POLICE community support officers are working with city residents to curb speeding in residential streets.
Obelisk Road, West Road and Johns Road in Woolston, Southampton, are being targeted by the scheme called speed watch where local residents monitor speeds with detection equipment.
Persistent offenders will receive a second warning letter, and on a third occasion, offenders can expect further action by police.
