THE EX-WIFE of disgraced Hampshire MP Chris Huhne, makes the latest bid to rehabilitate her reputation today after being convicted for swapping speeding points.
Vicky Pryce, the former head of the government economic service is to give evidence to a House of Lords inquiry into the eurozone crisis.
Ms Pryce was released from prison in May after serving two months for perverting the course of justice. She immediately announced that she was publishing a book on her experiences, with the title Prisonomics.
By contrast, Mr Huhne - who resigned from the Cabinet and as a Liberal Democrat MP after pleading guilty to the same offence - has kept a low profile since leaving jail.
Greek-born Ms Pryce had a high-flying career as an economist and was a regular pundit on television before her disgrace.
She is due to answer questions from peers on the cross-party sub-committee on economic and financial affairs at 10.30am.
