Lifeboat called out after reports of wreckage in the Solent
LYMINGTON’S RNLI lifeboat was launched just after midday today after reports of wreckage in the Solent off Milford-on-Sea.
Working alongside the Coastguard helicopter, the crew was able to confirm that the debris was remnants from the fishing vessel that had been beached and broken up the previous evening in the Barton on Sea area.
